News Samsung New Handset Update : Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge Images Leaked And More Details Emerge

Samsung on Monday confirmed its pre-MWC "Galaxy Unpacked 2016" event for February 21 in Barcelona. Now, more details about Samsung's upcoming "Next Galaxy" flagship have emerged.

One of the most reliable phone tipsters, Evan Blass aka @evleaks has shared images of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge alongside claiming other details about the handsets. The shared images show the front panels of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones in full glory and also corroborate to earlier claims that said there will be only two high-end Galaxy phones unveiled this month in Barcelona.
In a report Venture Beat's Blass cites a person who was briefed about the company's plans and claims that the South Korean company has added some of the features that were missing from the 2015 flagship pair. One of the biggest additions is microSD card expansion support, which was being rumoured for long. Both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are said to come with microSD card slots with a capacity of up to 200GB supported. Another notable addition is the IP67 dust and water resistance in both the new Galaxy phones. Notably, both the features were rumoured to be included in the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge phones.

According to the leaked images, both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge look to retain the same design language as their predecessors. The Galaxy S7 is likely to sport a 5.1-inch screen while the Galaxy S7 Edge is said to come with a 5.5-inch screen. Both the handsets are said to sport QHD (1440x2560 pixels) screen resolution.
The report says that this year Samsung may use the always-on display (AOD) functionality on both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge phones. The feature however is said to consume around one percent battery every hour.

The report adds that both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will get a bump in the battery capacities and will feature 3000mAh and 3600mAh batteries respectively. If this comes out to be true, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will pack large batteries than their predecessors Galaxy S6 (2550mAh) and Galaxy S6 Edge (2600mAh). Both the smartphones are also said to sport wireless charging functionality with as little as 2 hours for full charge on the Galaxy S7, and as little as 2.2 hours for the Galaxy S7 Edge.

Samsung is said to use the in-house SoC (system-on-chip) on the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge phones. Both the devices are said to pack Exynos 8 Octa 8890 processor with four cores clocked at 2.3GHz and four cores at 1.6GHz. The company is also expected to unveil a different model featuring the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor in some regions. All the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge variants are said to pack 4GB of RAM and are expected to come in 32GB and 64GB storage options.

For the camera, Samsung is said to have downgraded from the 16-megapixel rear camera seen on the Galaxy S6 to a 12-megapixel camera sensor on the Galaxy S7. The company is also rumoured to get rid of the camera bump which was present on the Galaxy S6. The rear camera module is said to gain f/1.7 lens aperture, a bump from last generation. The front camera is said to remain unchanged from the Galaxy S6, which sport a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

MWC 2016 is already gearing up to be the year's biggest mobile launch extravaganza with companies such as Sony, LG, Gionee, Xiaomi, and now Samsung confirming their presence at the event.

News Update On BlackBerry Handset : BlackBerry's New Android Slider Gets An Unofficial Close-Up In Nnew Leaked Images

The Blackberry 'Venice' has been teased for quite some time with a lucky few Mobile World Congress attendees getting a first glimpse of the device in early 2015. While we have previously seen a few images and renders of the device, the newly leaked images are probably the clearest and most detailed to date.
BlackBerry has experimented with this type of design before. The upcoming slider looks modern, polished and is reminiscent of Dell's long-forgotten Windows Phone 7 handset, the 'Venue Pro'. If BlackBerry's previous devices are any indication, the 'Venice' should be a solid piece of hardware.

The 'Venice' will be a flagship device for BlackBerry, with specs rumored to include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor, 3GB RAM, Quad-HD display, 18MP camera and 5MP front-facing camera. The device will be a monumental release for BlackBerry, mainly due to it not running the company's own Blackberry OS. Instead, the device will be running Google's Android OS.

Currently, there is no official word from BlackBerry regarding the 'Venice'. The device is expected to be released sometime before the end of the year, with some reports indicating that it may arrive in November.

News Samsung Update : Almost Every Single Detail About Samsung's Next Giant Galaxy Phones Has Reportedly Leaked

Samsung is rumored to be announcing two new phones later this week, but we may already have a clear idea of what to expect thanks to a new leak.

A Reddit user that goes by the alias "joelrtaveras" said a Samsung representative stopped by the retail location he or she works at with both phones. The user posted a rundown of initial impressions on the Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+, revealing almost every single detail about both phones. A bunch of photos of the Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ also appeared on Imgur, and several reports seem to indicate that they were published by the same person behind the Reddit post.

Here's a photo that reportedly shows what looks like the rumored Galaxy Note 5 alongside the iPhone 6 Plus.

And here's the back of the phone.

You can see the edges are made of metal, and the author writes that the S Pen is "spring loaded" so it sits flush with the bezel of the phone.

And now here's the reported Galaxy S6 Edge+ alongside the iPhone 6 Plus.

Here's a side view of the Galaxy Note 5 (left) and Galaxy S6 Edge+ (right). You'll notice the phone on the right is slightly curved just like the Galaxy S6 Edge.

Several details about Samsung's new phones have leaked over the past several months, but these new photos provide the clearest depiction we've seen so far. It's the first set of images that compares both phones to the iPhone, which provides a size comparison.
Here are some of the key takeaways from the Reddit post:
  • The Note 5 has a tapered back, and it's slightly thicker than the iPhone 6 Plus.
  • The Note 5 won't have an SD card slot and the base model has 32GB of storage.
  • The S Pen for the Note 5 has a "push to pop" mechanism for getting the pen out of its holster.
  • The Super AMOLED screen "looked great," but especially so on the S6 Edge+'s curved screen.
  • The S6 Edge+ comes with a feature called Apps Edge, which allows you to swipe from the right to view app shortcuts. This sounds like the feature Samsung debuted with the Galaxy Note Edge last year.
It's also important to note that both phones were running software that wasn't finalized, so there might be some changes on the final version. We're expecting Samsung to announce both phones at its Unpacked event on Thursday.

News Samsung Galaxy Handsets Update : Samsung Galaxy Note 5 And S6 Edge+ Photos Leak Iin Full

Samsung is readying two new phones for its Unpacked event later this week. Now we've seen the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ leak out it's almost certain these two phones are set to feature.

Sources speaking to Chinese website Digi-Wo have now shared leaks of what are allegedly the two new phones.

The leak suggests the Galaxy Note 5 is set to run on the Exynos 7420 - not the 7422 as some of the previous rumours suggested. It looks like the microSD card slot has been dropped, like it was on the Galaxy S6.

Big phones everywhere :
It could be a SIM and microSD combo tray slot this time around, but it's more likely Samsung has just decided to drop it.

It's also not clear from the photos how the S Pen pops out of the phone - rumours built up around a new technology developed to get it out quicker.

There's even a shot of the phone in all its packaging.
As for the Galaxy S6 Edge+, it's pictured yet again but there isn't a lot to show. It's just a bigger version of the Galaxy S6 Edge.
Be sure to take this news with a pinch of salt though, this could end up being a really elaborate hoax, but we'll know for sure come the official event on Thursday.

News Samsung Handset Leaked : Upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Live Photo

With the Samsung Unpacked event nearing, the anticipation for the next crop of Galaxy phones is at an all time high. The specs and photo leaks have been doing the rounds and the latest one comes about the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

Leaked by DroidLife, the photo shows a live physical image of the upcoming smartphone. The phone resembles a Samsung Galaxy S6 on steroids.
The smartphone will feature a 5.7 inch QHD display encased in a metal and glass body. An in-house 2.1 GHz Exynos processor will be running the show for the device. S Pen will definitely be there with some new and improved features and usability. A bit of a curve on the back might help gripping the device perfectly. Spec leaks point to a hefty 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The lack of microSD card slot is bother a few power users though. A 32/64/128GB storage variant might be available. A 3000mAh non-removable battery will keep the device running. A 16 MP primary camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera will keep the photography enthusiasts happy. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop will be running on the device.

The leaked AnTuTu document gave a final benchmark score of 69,702 to the Galaxy Note 5.

Consumers might be in for a few surprises at Samsung's big August 13th event, but most likely it would be the usual continuation to the Galaxy series.

News Apple iPhone Update : Latest iPhone 6s Leak Shows Off Force Touch Technology in Fully Assembled Display

New photos revealing how Apple's latest innovation could be implemented in the hotly anticipated iPhone 6s have leaked online, following supply-side reports that Apple has ramped up production of the upcoming smartphone's new displays.
The latest leaks show images of what is purported to be the iPhone 6s display outfitted with new components that will enable Force Touch in the upcoming handset.

Posted by Chinese repair firm Geekbar on Weibo and first spotted by Steven Hemmerstoffer of Nowhereelse.fr, the images show what could be the front and back views of the iPhone 6s front panel with the new LCD components.

Although the pictures show the same rounded edges of the glass display as seen in the iPhone 6 and the speaker and the front camera appear to be in the same position, there are a couple of notable changes that point to the incorporation of Force Touch into the new displays.

First off is a rectangular cutout on the upper center of the screen, through which a small, rectangular component can be seen. Geekbar does not mention what this new component is, but Apple Insider speculates that it could be a grounding insert.

Another major departure can be seen along the sides of the display's backing, where it appears that the display uses rivets instead of the usual screws and clips to stay in place. There also appears small, black dots on the sides, which are not found on the earlier iPhone's displays. Again, Geekbar makes no mention of what these dots could be, but they might be part of the implementation of Force Touch.

Force Touch is a pressure-sensitive Apple technology that allows a device to distinguish between different types of touch. A light tap and a deep press require different amounts of pressure, and being able to tell the difference between both can give the iPhone 6s added functionality not available in previous models.

Only the Apple Watch and the newest MacBooks unveiled by Apple earlier this year have Force Touch-enabled displays, but Apple is expected to add the new feature to its next smartphone, which is highly believed to be the iPhone 6s expected for an official unveiling in September.

The latest leak comes following reports from South Korean news outlets that Apple has significantly increased display production for the iPhone 6s to meet an expected demand for 36 to 40 million new iPhones in the third quarter.

News Sony New Handset Update: Bezel-Free Sony Xperia C5 Ultra and Xperia M5 Leak In New High Definition Images Available

Sony is scheduled to announce the new Xperia C5 Ultra and Xperia M5 in the next couple of days. Prior to that announcement, newly leaked images were spotted online, giving us early glimpses of the handsets' design features.
The leak comes from the Russian tech site Hi.Tech.Mail.ru. The original post, according to 9to5google.com, was time stamped for Aug. 3 and had now been taken down.

The upcoming C5 Ultra, as the name suggests, is billed as the successor to the 5.5-inch Xperia C4. The "ultra" moniker could refer to a number of things. First among them is the C5 Ultra's bigger display of 6 inches compared to the C4's. The next thing to consider is its upgraded battery size of 2,930 mAh which is bigger than the C4's 2,600 mAh battery. Other major comparisons include the C5 Ultra's 13MP wide-angle front-facing camera versus the C4's 5MP and the C5 Ultra's ultra-thin 0.8 mm bezel versus the C4's bezel measurement of 2.2 mm.

A few days ago, Tech Times reported on a leaked manual of the Xperia C5 Ultra, which confirms the handset's bezel-free display. The report also noted the handset's rear and front cameras to both have a flash.

The second image in question is purported to be the Xperia M5, which is reminiscent of the Sony Xperia Z3. Unlike the huge C5 Ultra, the M5 exudes a certain level of familiarity that makes it blend easily with the other Sony devices that are now available on the market.

The Xperia M5 features a 5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display and also sports a 13MP camera on the front and rear. It runs an octa-core Media Tek Helio X10 processor and has a RAM of 3GB, internal storage of 16GB and a microSD slot. It also boasts an IP65/IP68 dust and water resistance certification.

Among the two, the Xperia C5 Ultra will probably get more attention because of its bigger display and the 0.8mm wide bezels. Other notable features include a RAM of 2GB, internal storage of 16GB and an octa-core Media Tek Mt6752 processor.

The Xperia C5 Ultra is expected to retail at around $350 while the Xperia M5 will be somewhere near the $400 price point.

News Apple New Handset Update : Apple 'iPhone 6s' And 'iPhone 6s Plus' Leak Suggests Upcoming Device Will Still Sport A Protruding Camera

The next-generation Apple smartphones dubbed iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus may sport a protruding camera as found in the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, per rumors.

The protruding camera of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6s Plus resulted in many customer complaints as users were unable to lay their handset flat on the table as the camera lens sticks out by around a millimeter.

"This protruding camera is going to drive my OCD and anxiety riddled brain mad immediately. I have never used a case but I have a feeling I will have to succumb to one this time around in order to balance it out," complained a Reddit user. "I have always liked how the iPhone is sleek and simple, the protruding camera lens is a bit annoying."
Experts believed that Apple will make slight design tweaks to the next-generation iPhones so that the camera lens does not protrude. However, a report from French website Nowhereelse leaked images of the camera rings that will be used in the upcoming iPhones, which suggests that Apple will not make changes to the design of the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus and customers will have to bear with the protruding camera.

The placement of the camera on the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus may remained unchanged but the French website reveals that the Apple smartphones will get a 12MP iSight camera and a 5MP FaceTime camera.

The iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus are equipped with an 8MP iSight camera and a 1.2MP front-facing camera, which has not changed since the release of iPhone 4s.

The "S" models of the iPhones do not get major changes but rumors claim that the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus may come running on a faster A9 processor and 2GB of RAM. The new iPhones are also estimated to get a new NFC chip, better voice quality and a new touch display.

The existing iPhones are available in three colors options: Space Gray, Gold and Silver. Rumors suggest that Apple may launch the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus in rose gold color as well, which may attract more customers. However, it remains to be seen if the protruding camera in the upcoming iPhones will deter customers from buying the handsets.

The production of the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus are said to be underway and the handsets are expected to be launched in September. Customers will have to wait another few weeks before they can get a glimpse of the next-gen iPhones.

News OnePlus 2 Handset Update : Chinese Regulator Leaks OnePlus 2 Photos

Secret-keeping is not the technology industry's strong suit, and ahead of the July 27 launch of the OnePlus 2, images of the phone have appeared on a Chinese certification database.

As first reported by Engadget, four photos were published by TENAA, which, like the FCC, registers and certifies devices.

Based on these images, it looks like the OnePlus 2 has a physical home button—which perhaps supports a built-in fingerprint sensor—rather than the light-up icons on the OnePlus One.
A new front-facing camera, meanwhile, now resides on the opposite side of the phone's earpiece speaker. Little else seems to have changed on the facade.

Likewise, a non-descript back panel looks similar to the current model, with an ever-so-slightly lowered camera and LED housing—which features what 9to5Google identified as the new autofocus feature.

Perhaps most intriguing are the side views, which suggest the addition of a mute switch (think Apple's iPhone), or maybe a dedicated camera shutter button (think Nokia Lumia 1020), as 9to5Google speculated. The normal volume rocker and SIM-card slot are also present.

Details about the OnePlus 2 have been trickling out from the manufacturer, which recently confirmed a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and a USB-C port. But the company was waiting to release full details at a VR-inspired July 27 launch event.

Starting at 10 p.m. ET on Monday, folks around the world can stream the OnePlus 2 launch in virtual reality. Of course, you'll need a VR headset, like Google Cardboard or the sold-out OnePlus Cardboard, to watch the presentation in true form.

The Chinese smartphone maker has not yet announced exact pricing details, but earlier this month, it put to bed rumors that the next-gen handset will cost up to $200 more than its predecessor.

News BlackBerry Android SmartPhone Leak : Leaked Render Shows Off The Android Powered BlackBerry Venice

A leaked render of BlackBerry's upcoming "Venice" slider phone shows the device running Lollipop, instead of BlackBerry's own BlackBerry 10 OS. There have been rumors that BlackBerry was working on an Android powered device, but until now we had no idea just how that would look. One of the most notable things about the render that surfaced is the apparent inclusion of Google Apps on the device. This would mean that BlackBerry worked with Google to have the device pass Google's Compatibility Test Suite, instead of just forking an Android version that didn't include the services.
The BlackBerry Venice is rumored to launch this fall, and is apparently heading to AT&T — a long time partner — in the U.S. BlackBerry has been known for its keyboard hardware, but many didn't like the software. With so many great third-party keyboard options already available for Android, is there even a need for a physical keyboard device these days? Either way, it shouldn't be all that long before we find out what BlackBerry has up its sleeve.

News Xiaomi SmartPhone Leak Update : Leaked: Xiaomi Mi 5 Xo Come With 4GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras, Fingerprint Scanner

New Delhi: Chinese mobile manufacturer Xiaomi is said to incorporate a 4GB RAM in its next flagship device, possibly called the Mi 5.

Website Mobipicker quoted sources saying that the latest handset release by the Chinese firm is codenamed Libra, adding the device would come with 4GB of RAM and the Snapdragon 820 chipset.
Successor to the Mi 4, the purported Mi 5 will either include 16GB or a 64GB internal storage, a 5.3-inch display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels and a 3,030mAh battery. While the Android Lollipop-based smartphone is expected to come with a 16 megapixel rear camera and a 6 megapixel front-facing camera, the site reveals that the handset will sport a dual camera setup.

In the leaked image, the phone is shown to come with a dual LED flash surrounded by two cameras in the rear. The purported device is also said to include a fingerprint scanner.

Earlier leaks indicated that the phone will include a 5.2-inch Quad HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, and a 20.2-megapixel rear camera.

However, there is by far no official word on the release date or specifications of the rumoured device.
