Meeting minutes are a pain that this app aims to ease. As you take minutes, you can take down actions and store them for follow-up.
It also includes a timer to help you stay on track; it enables the easy distribution of notes; it keeps everything organised; and it has integration with calendars and your iDevice contacts.

 

TrackMySpend
Platform: iOS (iPhone and iPad)
Price: Free
The Australian Government just doesn't trust us to keep track of our own finances, so its giving us an app to help. This app not only helps record personal expenses, it also works out work-related expenses, so that you never have to dread tax time again. In case something happens, the information is automatically backed up for free.



Kondoot
Platform: iOS (iPhone and iPad)
Price: Free
Kondoot, which was founded by Aussies who announced plans for an initial public offering (IPO) in March, has just released a revamped app. Kondoot is a social network that enables live video streaming so that users can publish and watch live and recorded broadcasts and hold video chats. An Android app is coming soon. For businesses, it's a great distribution method for presentations.



Pinterest
Platform: iOS (iPhone and iPad), Android
Price: Free
Pinterest has now released apps for Android and iPad, so that you can share your pictures to the social network even if you're not an iPhone user. You can now also add pins directly from your device's camera.



Gliph
Platform: iOS (iPhone), Android
Price: Free
If you worry about security, Gliph might be a great app for you. You create an account by claiming a Gliph, and then you can send encrypted text messages and cloak your email when using it on sites that you don't trust, although this feature only works under certain conditions on Android. You can even delete messages that you didn't mean to send to other users, not only on your device, but on theirs, too.



Pick.ee
Platform: iOS (iPhone)
Price: Free
If you want to chat to people around you, but also want to be private or take control with an alter ego, Pick.ee might be for you. It lets you choose whether you want to be visible or invisible, and decide what fields you want to fill out about yourself and embellish to your heart's content. If you're looking for a particular type of person, you can put filters on to only show that kind of person.



Stayz.com.au Holiday Rentals
Platform: iOS (iPhone)
Price: Free
In need of a break from work? Maybe you could book your holiday accommodation using the new Stayz app. You can search for and book accommodation in list or map format.



ExpressPlus
Platform: iOS (iPhone)
Price: Free
Struggling through your IT degree while working in IT part time? This app might save you some time. It lets you report your income and any changes in circumstances to Centrelink without you having to call them or go into an office. You can also check the amount of your Centrelink payments, apply for an advanced payment or notify the office of changes to your study load.
