As we head into the final week of the NFL preseason it is time to figure out how you can follow your team on your mobile devices. Here are 10 apps you can use to keep track of news, scores, stats, and more on your Nexus 7 tablet.
I like the visual drive details provided by CBS Sports in the Game Tracker portion of the app. You can view news with a player or all NFL filter, see a news ticker on the bottom scrolling by, view game previews, match-ups, and more.

ESPN Scorecenter :
This ESPN app covers a multitude of sports and their NFL coverage is solid. You can check out scores, news, standings, and highlight videos. Tapping on a score also takes you to more details play-by-play and stats.

American Football News from FF Labs :
NFL News is an app that serves as a RSS aggregator for many different sports news feeds, including Yahoo, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated, USA Today, Sporting News, and more. You can read news about individual teams as well.

NFL News from iApp Ventures LLC :
This NFL News app provides the latest NFL news and the full NFL schedule. There is no team filtering or advanced features and this one just sticks with the basics.

Pro Football Insider from Pro Football Weekly, LLC :
You can view news, standings, scores, and even videos with this app, but one of the more interesting features to me is the ability to view the Twitter feed from NFL players. You often find out things on Twitter you don't see in the news, such as when TO was just cut from my Seahawks team.

NFL Scoreboard from Sean Schulte :
This app launches with the scores of each game listed. Tapping on each one takes you to in-depth stats and a play-by-play feed.

ScoreMobile :
Like ESPN, ScoreMobile also covers a variety of sports and is one of my favorite sports apps on my devices. The NFL section includes scores, stats, schedules, and a quick ability to share the score to your favorite service.

SportingNews from Zumobi Network :
This is another NFL app that provides you with Twitter status updates from players. In addition, you can view scores, teams, stats, stat leaders, and news.

Yahoo Sportacular :
This Yahoo!-based app provides lots of detailed information on the NFL and uses the bottom menu button to navigate to different sections. Game details include stats, leaders, and play-by-play info.

Fox Sports :
Fox Sports covers a variety of sports and you can customize the app for your sports and your teams. The NFL section includes news, scores, standings, photos, and videos. Team info includes the roster and injury updates as well.
