Taiwan's HTC Settles Patent Disputes With Apple

TAIPEI, Taiwan (AP) — Taiwanese smart phone manufacturer HTC has resolved with Apple company on their excellent certain conflicts.

In a combined declaration Weekend, the two companies said they also finalized a 10-year certificate contract that will increase to current and upcoming patents organised by one other.

Apple and HTC had fought patents over various smart phone features since Goal 2010, with the Cupertino-based company blaming HTC mobile phones that run on Google Android operating system application of infringing on its patents.

HTC us president Chris Chou says finishing the lawsuits will allow his company to concentrate more on product advancement.

HTC has exploded as the first manufacturer of mobile phones running on Android operating system application. But its sales faltered from the second half of 2011 in a market progressively separated between Apple company and New samsung Gadgets.
