Skype For Android 3.0 Tablet Overhaul Sparks Bug Reports

Summary: The update to Skype's app for Android tablets brings a revamped UI and audio, but also reports from users of dropped calls and crashes in the Microsoft-owned VoIP service.

 "With so many now using tablets to make movie and speech phone calls with Skype, this newest edition is enhanced to range to your tablet's bigger display, so you can experience Skype on a bigger show wherever you go," Derek Snyder, head of cellular product marketing at Skype, said in a writing.

The upgrade has a two-column structure, with regularly used Skype choices (such as relationships, contacting and messages) on the remaining and an effective call/video flow on the right.
