Microsoft Suspends Windows Phone App Publications Due To 'HICCUP'

Summary: A digital certificate problem during the rollout of the Windows Phone Dev Center has led to the suspension of all new app publications to the Windows Phone Marketplace.

Ms has had to stop new applications being released to the Ms windows Cellphone Industry, due to a electronic document problem.

The problem hit during the rollout of the new Ms windows Cellphone Dev Center, a database for programmer resources. At some point, a problem with electronic accreditations came to exist that ceased some mobile phones from setting up recently-published applications. Industry primary Todd Brix described the problem as a "hiccup" that had to do with the shop's back-end facilities being modified over.

"We've already determined the problem and are working to take care of it and continue validating and posting applications as quickly as possible," Brix said in a writing.

The problem only seems to impact devices that have been improved to Ms windows Cellphone 7.5, rather than those sold with that edition of the os already set up.

"We calculate the problem also impacts only a tiny proportion of the 100,000-plus applications in Industry," Windows Mazhar Mohammed had written in a writing on Wednesday. "Among the more popular ones impacted are the New You are able to Times, WhatsApp, and Translation from Google — all of which lately released new up-dates."

The most uncomfortable element of this situation is that impacted customers get provided with a Ms windows Cellphone concept that reads: "We're having trouble setting up this app. Tap and hold the product, then tap Retry. If you're trying to upgrade an current app, and the problem carries on, you might need to remove the app then set up it again."

Brix advised customers not to remove the app, despite what the concept says, because it may be difficult to re-download the app until Ms has implemented its fix.
