Innovative has revealed a new family of sound items that will acquire the reliable Audio Blaster name. The Audio Blaster Z, Audio Blaster Zx and Audio Blaster ZxR all use Creative’s Core3D quad-core sound and speech brand, much like the recent Recon3D cards. Each of the three items offers a unique combination of functions, requirements and prices.
The entry-level Audio Blaster Z sneakers things off at $100 which gets you a firm intended to be used with earphones up to 600 O. In addition, there's 120dB SNR, support for 192kHz direct pass-through to analogue out, an EMI-free analogue feedback and outcome path and there is even radiant LED illumination if you are into that sort of thing.
The mid-range Audio Blaster Zx delivers with all of the same functions as the Z greeting credit card but contributes an exterior Audio Control Component (ACM) with a built-in double microphone stand range, amount handle and microphone stand / earphone relationships. The low-end greeting credit card does have an exterior mic but none of the other ACM functions. Expect to pay around $150 for this settings.
The top-of-the-line ZxR is $100 more expensive than the mid-range greeting credit card but your $250 spend provides you with what Innovative calls studio-grade elements, 123dB analog-to-digital converters with RCA Aux-in and visual feedback, the same ACM that delivers with the Zx greeting credit card and a girl greeting credit card that provides additional slots should you need them.
The Technical Review says the Audio Blaster Z will be available as early as Oct while the Zx and the ZxR will not be ready until Dec.
