New Product Launch : Is the Netbook back? Asus introducing New Notebook EeeBook X205.

Asus today launched its EeeBook X205 notebook in India at price of Rs 14,999. The new EeeBook runs on Windows 8.1 (32-bit) operating system with Bing and one year Office 365 subscription. Asus claims the EeeBook X205 to be its lightest notebook. It sports a 11.6-inch HD glare display panel with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The device, overall, is slim, light and portable. It features a full-size keyboard and touchpad.  
On the hardware front, it runs on a 1.33GHz quad-core Intel Bay Trail Atom Z3735 processor with Intel HD Graphics and 2GB RAM. It comes with 32GB of storage, out of which around 20GB is available to users. The EeeBook X205 has a microSD card slot which supports up to 128GB of external storage along with two USB 2.0 ports, through which users can connect their portable hard drive. Microsoft is also offer 15GB OneDrive storage for lifetime and 100GB of free Microsoft OneDrive space for two years. Asus is additionally offering 500GB of its WebStorage for free for two years.

On the connectivity front, it offers WLan, Bluetooth 4.0, micro-HDMI and two USB 2.0 ports. It will be available on Flipkart in Blue, White, Gold and Red colour options starting from January 21. The device is expected to be available in Asus stores by the first week of February.
