Jolla Says No To Official Sailfish OS Port For Nokia N9

Lately, Jolla revealed its Sailfish OS. This started out new opportunities for gadgets such as the Htc N9. According to a tweets by Jolla, though, the N9 will not get an formal slot of the Sailfish OS.

When a customer requested Jolla over Twitter if there is a slot of the os for the Htc N9, Jolla replied: "We cannot assistance The lenders product formally. Officially there is nothing avoiding for porting to eg. N9." While this does put a stop to the likelihood of an formal slot, there is nothing avoiding designers who have enough time available to slot the OS to the N9. At this point, the N9 is currently reinforced by designers in common, as the formal designers of the Phone had decreased assistance.

Fan designers of the Htc N9 are more-or-less what is keeping the Phone profitable. Back in Aug, designers had ported Android os 4.1 Jelly Bean to the product. The designers launched video clips clip displaying that some of the features of the Jelly Bean slot perform. Though it is uncertain exactly what insects the product may have while managing the newest edition of Android os, it might be constant enough in the near future to use as a everyday car owner. The designers for Android os increase a confusing question against OEMs like HTC and Samsung: Why does it take so long to upgrade a Phone to the newest edition of Android?

Earlier this year, we had revealed that the N9 was efficiently managing a build of Android os 4.0 Ice Lotion Food. From the video clips at enough time, it seemed that this “ROM” was a bit glitchy and, as predicted, did not perform in the leader stage of the ROM's features like the Photographic camera and Wi-Fi. Things that proved helpful were: the ability to double start and choose the OS after energizing on the product, 3D motorists, Open GL, spinning, touchscreen display screen, ear phones control buttons, USB social media, LCD off in sleep method, Alert, Increasing of "My Docs" as SD Card, software movie understanding, system signing up, i.e., telephone phone calls, SMS, Data (GPRS/ EDGE/ 3G), Wireless and asking for, but without any announcements of how much power supply has already been billed.

The Htc N9 has a 3.9-inch AMOLED screen managing at a quality of 480 x 854, providing the Phone a pixel solidity of 251ppi. The Phone operates on a 1GHz Cortex A8 processer and has 1GB of RAM, operated by a PowerVR SGX530 GPU. The N9 sports an 8 mega-pixel camera with Carl Zeiss Optics.

On the connection side, the Htc N9 has assistance for Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n. The Phone also facilitates HSDPA rates of speed of up to 14.4 Megabyte per second. The Phone has Wireless 2.1 with A2DP and NFC abilities. The Phone is the last Htc system to run MeeGo.
