Logitech Unveils New Windows 8 Mice, Touchpad

Summary: Want to leverage Windows 8 touch gestures but don't want to invest in a touchscreen or tablet? Logitech offers a way to do this with two new wireless mice and a wireless touchpad, all supporting an array of Windows 8 gestures that allow the user to explore and operate Microsoft's latest operating system.

Swiss side-line manufacturer Logitech today revealed three new products designed to make use of the Windows 8 contact user interface.

The collection consists of a touch pad and two mice -- the Touchpad T650, the Touch Rabbit T620, and the Area Touch Rabbit T400. All three peripheral devices use a tiny 2.4GHz USB wi-fi transmitter which can support up to six gadgets.

According to Scott Culver, Logitech's v. p. of brand development for consumer computing platforms, the new gadgets "replicate the touch-screen experience that you’ve grown accustomed to on smartphones and tablets" and provides users "quick, easy and dynamic access to the core elements of the new interface".

All three gadgets will be available later this 30 days.

Touchpad T650
The Touchpad T650 is a rechargeable, wi-fi 2.4GHz touch pad that changes the need for a touchscreen on your existing desktop or notebook PC. The cup area allows the user to explore and operate the Windows 8 os with 13 unique actions -- and there's even a gesture for accessing the Start display.

The only time the Touchpad T650 isn't wire-free is when it is re-charging, which it does via a USB wire. Just one cost can last up to monthly, so you're not going to be seeing that wire often.

Price: $79.99.

Touch Rabbit T620 :

The Touch Rabbit T620 is a sleek, pebble-shaped wire-free side-line with an effective area that facilitates six Windows actions for quick routing through the os. It facilitates swipes, scrolls, faucets, and mouse clicks, all without only one actual option.

Another interesting feature of the Touch Rabbit T620 is that you can customize the weight of the side-line by choosing to kit it out with one or two AA power supply power. Just one power supply provides a lighter mouse that takes three several weeks, while two cells provide the Touch Rabbit T620 a solid feel, and takes up to six several weeks.

The Touch Rabbit T620 can also act like a standard mouse, and uses Logitech's advanced visual tracking to ensure pin-point precision.

Price: $69.99.

Zone Touch Rabbit T400 :

The Area Touch Rabbit T400 is a more traditional looking wi-fi mouse, supporting three Windows 8 contact actions that are carried out on a dedicated cup "touch zone".

The Area Touch Rabbit T400 provides an incredible 18 several weeks of life cycle of power supply before power supply power need changing -- which means you might be changing your PC before you have to replace the AAs.

Price: $49.99.
