Galaxy Note 10.1 Teardown Reveals Pleasantly Serviceable Design

Samsung's Universe Observe 10.1 may have just came out last Saturday, but willing iFixit tinkerers have already handled to post a full disassembly guide, stuffed with high-resolution images and specific notices. Simply speaking, the teardown shows an remarkably slim device but at the cost of looking for a lower-capacity battery load up.

One thing iFixit found particularly exciting about the Universe Observe 10.1 is its excellent reparability. Despite being slimmer than third-generation iPads, this newest Universe Observe shows to be uncommonly functional. New samsung used little stick, just five in a different way scaled fasteners and didn't blend the affordable digitizer (i.e. the piece of glass-composite which protects the display) to the relatively expensive show board. Nice move, New samsung.

Of course, I'm advised of the Retina MacBook Pro, a product which iFixit found to be an antonym to this type of easily functional design.
Inside the plastic piece, iFixit found a 1.4GHz quad-core New samsung Exynos CPU + GPU, Wolfson WM12811AE audio processor and 2GB worth of Samsung-branded system memory. This product also happens to be the first one they've taken apart to feature EMI protects organised down with fasteners, in contrast to being attached by more lasting methods like soldering.

The dozuki-wielding iFixers found Samsung's product features a 25.9 watt-hour battery load up. The lithium-polymer load up is predicted to provide around 8 time of up-time for the Universe Observe 10.1. By evaluation, the newest iPad has a 42.5 watt-hour battery load up which guarantees 10 time of juice. The iPad's bigger battery load up is also linked to its improved overall width.
