As we have been confirming over the last few weeks, more and more Ms windows 8-based applications are being added to the Ms windows Store area of the os, ahead of the OS release in just over a month. But just how many mobile app designers are really planning to create applications for Ms windows 8?
The Dallas Times reviews that, according to a new study of app makers by Appcelerator and IDC, 33 % of them say they are "very interested" to make applications for Ms windows 8-based pills. The study also said that the designers were "cautiously optimistic" that Ms will be able to give them "the distributed growth abilities between pc and product guaranteed by Ms with the release of Ms windows 8."
While 33 % is a strong number for an OS that hasn't been launched yet, the study also reveals that 85 % are "very interested" to make applications for the iPhone; 83 % of the devs are enthusiastic about creating applications for the iPad, along with 76 % for Android managing program mobile phones and 66 % for Android managing program pills and the HTML5 foundation.
The study also revealed that just 21 % of designers are enthusiastic about creating Ms windows Mobile phone 7 applications. That os will be rejuvenated with Ms windows Mobile phone 8, depending on the Ms windows 8 kernel, later this fall.
