"You've got iPhone 5 arriving, there's going to be other items from all our opponents, so the truth is to be aggressive, you need to renew fairly often to carry new and impressive items into the industry."
Talking about Sony's now broad variety of gadgets, MacDougall said: "It does provide us with some benefits, because we can provide different kinds of items to different kinds of marketplaces and customers."
However it looks like the newest mobile mobile phones will be Sony's last promotions of 2012, with MacDougall verifying that the new variety will be the company's leading cellular phone gadgets for the relax of the season.
