“We’ve momentarily revoked the capability to totally reset The apple company ID account details over the cellphone,” The apple company spokesperson Natalie Kerris told Wired via e-mail. “We’re asking clients who need to totally reset their private data to continue to use our online iForgot program (iforgot.apple.com).
“This program can totally reset a private data in one of two ways – either have a private data totally reset sent to an alternate e-mail deal with already on record or challenge the customer to answer protection concerns they had previously set up. When we resume over-the-phone private data resets, clients will be required to provide even stronger identify verification to totally reset their private data.”
