Samsung Launches Galaxy S Duos And Y Duos Lite Dual-SIM Smartphones

New Samsung today extended its profile of dual-SIM cellular phone devices by releasing the Galaxy S Duos and Galaxy Y Duos En aning.  The high-end S Duos functions a four-inch display and operates on Android operating system 4.0 Ice Lotion Food, while the entry-level Y Duos En aning has a 2.8-inch display and operates on Android operating system 2.3 Gingerbread.

Powered by a 1GHz Cortex A5 CPU, the Galaxy S Duos has a large four-inch 480 x8 00 (WVGA) TFT display. It comes with a 1500 mAh battery load up and a 5 mega-pixel auto-focus back photographic camera with LED display in addition to a VGA front-facing photographic camera. It has Wireless 3.0, Wi-Fi, 4 GB of storage (expandable to 32GB via microSD cards) and 768MB of RAM. Design on the S Duos is operated by an Adreno 200 GPU.

That's because the Y Duos En aning is targeted at customers looking to move from feature mobile phones to cellular phone devices. It operates on Gingerbread and has all the standard functions found on entry-level cellular phone devices such as Wireless, Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS, a two mega-pixel photographic camera and 4GB of storage space (expandable to 32GB via microSD cards). It also functions Samsung’s very own TouchWiz UI skinned over Gingerbread.

In collaboration with Dependency, New Samsung presents a ‘Smart Deal’ of 1 GB 3G information or Endless 2G information no cost per month for six months for all New Samsung Galaxy Y Duos En aning customers.

The Galaxy S Duos comes pre-loaded with a coordinator of programs. An app that may be of interest to learners is the My Knowledge app available in the the New Samsung Mobile Application Store. My Knowledge lets school learners take advantage of more than 10000 no cost video clips curated by instructors and, according to a media communiqué, is the biggest selection of academic video clips planned to the Native indian program. These video clips are appropriate for all learners from Category I to XII. The app also offers more than 800 guides. Students can also access evaluation documents and can take tests on real-time basis.

The New Samsung Galaxy S Duos is available for Rs 17,900 and the GALAXY Y Duos En aning is priced at Rs 6,990.
