Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet 2 Runs Windows 8 Pro, Includes Keyboard For $799

Summary: Microsoft wasn't kidding when it said Windows 8 Pro tablets would cost as much as Ultrabooks.

PC creators usually don't coughing up costs information on unreleased designs easily, but obviously the people at wpcentral merely requested Lenovo repetitions at a latest media occasion how much the ThinkPad Product 2 operating Ms windows 8 Pro would price at release -- and the repetitions informed them. The new standing will bow on Oct 26 -- the release time frame of Ms windows 8 -- and price $799.

That price will obviously consist of a key pad, which could make it a a little bit better deal than Windows own Area Pro tablet, which may price $799 with an additional $199 for its key pad cover. (You may also be able to buy the ThinkPad Product 2 without laptops computer key pad, presumably for $100-$200 less.) But it's also in line with Windows declaration that Ms windows 8 Pro pills will contend in price more with Ultrabooks than with customer pills.

Other specifications for the ThinkPad Product 2 consist of a 10.1-inch IPS show with 1,366x768 quality and a complete edition of Workplace 2013, with the processer said to be an Apple Atom Clover Pathway operating at 1.8GHz. There's also an optionally available connect that provides an Ethernet slot, a group of USB slots, and an HDMI outcome.

It's clear that the Ms windows 8 Pro tablet message is that you'll choose the flexibility of the standing over the flexibility of a slim computer, even if you don't get all the purchases you'd have holding an Ultrabook around.  (And in case you mind spending a similar price, you get a complete edition of Ms Workplace tossed in.) There's a lot of uncertainty about that technique, such as on ZDNet (see here and here).
