Less than monthly after hitting racks, Ms windows phone 8 customers are confirming problems with the Htc and HTC produced gadgets that run the OS. Boards have been abuzz with problems faced by customers which range from poor lifestyle cycle of power supply to unique reboots, enough to raise eye-brows about the latest OS version from the Ms windows constant.
In a line on WPCentral, HTC 8X customers have been talking about their mobile phones at unique restarting numerous periods while in use. Besides the HTC, Nokia Lumia 920 customers too have revealed about reboots and make contact with lock up problems on both Ms and Nokia’s support forums. Battery lifestyle has been another widely revealed problem that has left Ms windows phone 8 customers unhappy.
In efforts to try and fix power supply problem, some customers ended up bricking their mobile phones, with the display stuck on the Htc splash display, after a hard recast, as published in a line on WPCentral. Meanwhile, certain customers were also experiencing problems with Wi-Fi connection vanishing when the device was closed.
In reaction to a twitter, Joe Belfiore, Corporate Vice-President, Ms windows phone Program Management, said that Ms was working on a fix for the Wi-Fi problem. ‘Someone is going to scream at me for saying this, but... fix is coming. Sshh. Just promise me a little tolerance though,’ he tweeted.
Considering that it’s been less than monthly since Ms windows phone 8 gadgets have been made available, there is hope for up-dates in the near future that fix these problems. Htc seems to be in damage control method already, earning brownie points from some customers for changing their bricked Lumia 920s instantaneously. There has been no formal word on the problems by either Ms, Htc or HTC, though.
Meanwhile, Htc fans in the country will have to be content with gadgets operating Ms windows phone 7 for a while as sources claim that the Lumia 920 launch will not take place anytime soon in Native indian. The company has only recently released the Lumia 900 and don’t seem to be in a rush to launch its much anticipated Ms windows phone 8 operating device whenever soon. Lumia 900 cannot be improved to Ms windows phone 8 either.
The supposed Nov launch was much anticipated with Diwali around the corner, and would have certainly seen pieces traveling off the display quickly. The news of its launch had set social networks on fire and frustration was obvious when Htc did not make it available in the Native indian markets. The fact that Ms windows phone 8 competing HTC, will be launching HTC 8X and 8S soon in Native indian has not hastened Nokia’s process of rolling out their more recent gadgets right away.
The phone is packed with features like an 8.7MP Carl Zeiss optics rear Camera in addition to PureView technology that claims to catch five periods more light than opponent mobile phones, a paddling new IPS TFT attentive touchscreen display screen that has a resolution of 1280 x 768 p and pixel density of 332ppi.
