With the Intel Designer Community 2012 kicking off today, one of the major features of the beginning keynote was the introduction of the 4th Creation Intel Primary processor chip chips, which are codenamed Haswell.
Strangely, Intel hasn't yet decided on whether to continue using the Primary product for Haswell; they are in fact even contemplating baptism this series of processor chip chips with an entirely new product name. Kirk Skaugen, Vice President, General Manager, PC Client Group mentioned this in his follow up presentation to the main keynote.
During the beginning keynote, Intel Businesses Chief Product Officer, Dadi Perlmutter, described how its low-power processor chip chips, beginning with the organization's 4th generation Intel Primary processor chip close relatives that will be made available next year, will aim to set a new standard for traveling with a laptop encounters and innovative Ultrabook, sports convertible and tablet styles.

Speaking at the Intel Designer Community in San Francisco, Dadi Perlmutter said that Intel has reduced the platform nonproductive energy of its 4th generation Intel Primary processor chip close relatives depending on the next-generation ‘Haswell’ microarchitecture by more than 20 times over the 2nd generation while providing better activities and responsiveness. He also said Intel will add a new range of even lower-power processor chip chips depending on the same microarchitecture to its map beginning in 2013.
These new products emphasize the organization's concentrate to strongly drive energy intake down to enable longer battery and guide in a wave of new, streamlined cellular styles, while providing increasing processor chip, design and media performance.

"The 4th generation Intel Primary processor chip close relatives and our new range of low-power processor chip chips will guide in an era of unmatched advancement in traveling with a laptop," Perlmutter said. "Our concentrate to deliver even reduced energy with the excellent performance that our processor chip chips are known for is as generally significant as when we moved our development concentrate beyond actual processor chip speed in 2001. As a result, you'll see our customers providing sleek and cool sports convertible styles, as well as radical cutting-edge encounters across a growing variety of cellular phone devices."
Graphics standard routines shown during the keynote demonstrated Haswell's 2x performance jump over Ivy Link. Remarkably, the trial also showed how climbing performance down to Ivy Link levels could cut in half the energy intake in a Haswell-powered system, showing off the amount of performance headroom the chip has and how it can do really well in burst-mode circumstances.

Perlmutter rejected to commit to a specific launch date for Haswell, but was adament that by 2013, the 4th Creation Intel Primary Processor close relatives, which are depending on the Haswell microarchitectecture, will be enabling lighter, thinner, cooler, faster and more secure techniques with excellent design performance.
Much of the concentrate of the keynote stayed Ultrabooks and feature improvements like voice identification and control, actions and touch enabled techniques. Mobile phones received only a quick mention, which dissatisfied many in the audience who were hoping for some statement on the Medfield front.
