Earlier today HTC announced two brand new Windows Phone 8 gadgets, the Windows Phone 8X and the Windows Phone 8S. HTC has now uploaded a video to YouTube showing the design behind both gadgets. HTC explains why they chose to design these gadgets the way they did and why it is important to bring software and hardware together.
Both gadgets come in a variety of colours with the 8S gadgets being two-tone. The 8S features a 4.0-inch show, a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core 1 GHz chipset, 512 MB RAM, 4GB space for storage, a 1700 mAh power supply, integrated Surpasses Sound, a 5-megapixel back dslr camera, and removable SD card. The higher end 8X features a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor 1.5 GHz chipset which is dual-core, a 4.3-inch show with Gorilla Glass 2, an 8-megapixel back dslr camera, an 2.1-megapixel front-facing dslr camera, Surpasses Sound, 16 GB of space for storage and a 1,800mAh power supply. Neither gadgets includes NFC.
