LG Officially Announces Snapdragon S4 Pro-Powered Optimus G


LG has declared the Optimus G smart phone with the second creation quad-core processer. This smart phone is packed with a variety of features that will absolutely attract anyone who is slightly interested in smart phone technological innovation. As the first 1.5GHz Quad-Core LTE smart phone to use Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 processer, LG’s latest system will not only offer high fast performance but also longer battery energy, slimmer information, lighter show and a new touchscreen display board technological innovation because of the vertically-integrated growth process.

Here is a quick look at some of the main features of the LG Optimus G:
  • 4.7-inch True HD IPS+ display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels.
  • LTE, 3G, EDGE/GPRS and Wi-Fi capabilities for net access.

LG Chem designed a new battery energy that offers greater energy potential without limiting on size. Standard cell phone battery energy have a lifetime of 500 expenses in best-case conditions. Using LG Chem’s high-density technological innovation, battery energy that was designed for the new leading smart phone provides more energy than other similarly-sized battery energy by running 60 % more effectively. The brand statements that the new battery energy has a lifetime of 800 periods, a first for a cell phone.

LG Display’s participation to the venture was in the growth of a new cellular show that is better than AMOLED shows but needs less energy. LG Display’s Real HD IPS+ Display is better than today's current AMOLED shows due to its great pixel solidity of 320ppi (1280 x 768 pixels) and Red stripe RGB IPS Panel. This new show is capable of producing 470 nits of lighting while taking 70 % less energy compared to others when showing a white background. Furthermore, Real HD IPS+ Display does not suffer from screen burn-in as AMOLED shows have been known to do.

Partnering with LG Display, solution-provider LG Innotek designed the G2 Contact Multiple Display after making an investment considerably to increase its R&D abilities in touchscreen display technological innovation. The G2 Contact Multiple Display is a unibody unit that removes the gap between the cup and the LCD board as found in traditional touchscreens. Consequently, the width of LG Innotek’s touchscreen display board was reduced by 30 % and shows pictures that seem to “touch” the finger without the cup creating a hurdle in between.

The mobile phone will release in The philipines next 30 days and monthly later in Asia. The Optimus G is predicted to be released later this year, but as of now, there is no price available for this latest smart phone from LG.
